Friday, July 13

10:00 am: Film: Making Whiteness Visible - Sha'an Mouliert and Paij Wadley-Bailey.

2:00 pm: Bio-weapons and Bio-labs: The Struggle in Boston - Joan Ecklein and Carol Dwyer.

3:00 pm: Africa and the Jubilee Movement for Debt Cancellation - Robin Lloyd.

4:00 pm: New Directions for the Peace Movement (including a report from the recent United for Peace andJustice Assembly) - Elisabeth Leonard and Nancy Wren.

7:30 pm: In the barn: Author Louise Wright will discuss her book CITIZEN: A Biography of Jane Addams and the Struggle for Democracy. Addams was a world renowned social worker and founder of the Hull House in Chicago, and the first American woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. She was elected the president of WILPF at its founding in 1919.

Saturday, July 14

10:00 am: In the barn: A Discussion with Zahra Ha-mid - The Plight of Iraqi Women Displaced by the War. Zahra is a trained social worker and Iraqi refugee living and working in Amman, Jordan. In recent years, she has been instrumental in making connections between visiting international representatives and members of the growing Iraqi refugee community in Amman. In this capacity she has worked with BBC TV, Human Rights Watch and numerous independent journalists and NGOs. She regularly participates in civil society efforts within Jordan intended to highlight the needs and concerns of Iraqi refugees.

2:00 pm: Report fro the World Social Forum and the UN Commission on Women - Laura Roskos and Dawna Hammer.

4:00 pm: Peak Oil and the Middle East Crisis - Nancy Lee Wood and Charlotte Dennett.

7:30 pm: Nuclear Power/Nuclear Weapons: A Report from the Non-proliferation Treaty Meeting in Vienna, and from the Campaign to Close VT Yankee - Felicity Hill, Stephanie Fraser and Hattie Nestel.

Sunday, July 15

10:00 am: Report from US WIPLF - Judy Claude and Jody Todd; Haiti report - Marge Van Cleef; Report on Disarmament - Valerie Mullin.

12:00 pm: Lunch.

Afternoon: Evaluation, swimming & goodbyes.
